Project Overview
The University of North Texas Science Building is a four-story research laboratory facility with a fifth level that housed MEP systems and four (4) heated and cooled greenhouses. This building included multiple life science labs , faculty offices, Graduate Assistant office spaces, and other support areas.

Project Details
RWB completed the design of all building MEP systems to include day-light harvesting, generator power, process cooling and heating systems, lab airflow control systems, snorkel exhaust, refrigerated storage compartments and other special lab systems such as compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen, and vacuum.
RWB continues to grow their experience on large educational campuses and familiarity with multi-package and phased projects. The University of North Texas Life Science Building is connected to an existing Biology Building, a portion of which was renovated. Heating boilers were installed in the addition and chilled water was supplied by the adjacent building and remote central utility plant .
