RWB has provided MEP engineering services on many occasions for Fidelity Investments.

We have completed several projects at their data center located in Irving, TX. Some of the projects include expansion, upgrades in existing, and remodel of spaces in Fidelity’s data centers.

RWB also completed multiple projects at Fidelity Investments office buildings throughout the Dallas area. Many of these facilities were 24/7 office buildings, for which RWB designed the MEP infrastructure. These offices all had data centers within them to support the operations of the building. Each building included cooling towers, chillers, water source heat pumps, and air handling units. From an electrical perspective, RWB designed generators inside the buildings to ensure the 24-hour operations never go down.

One data center project at the Irving facility included an 852-ton cooling tower upgrade, a new 900-kW generator, and a 500KVA UPS system. In addition to the data center renovations, the expansion project included:

• The addition of 1,000 tons of cooling tower capacity.
• A 30,000-gallon fuel oil storage system. The fuel oil system consists of a duplex pumping system and a fuel oil cleaning system.
• The addition of a new 4,500 kW generator system and 2,250 kW rotary UPS System.

The office renovations for Fidelity included 12 floors of finish-outs in the Canal Plaza Office Building and the Waterway Tower.
